The National Forensic Sciences University has discontinued NFAT from the 2026–27 academic session. Admission to its UG, PG and integrated programmes now runs through CUET, CAT, GATE, GMAT, JEE Main and other national-level entrance exams. NPI has rebuilt its guidance around this new process.
No more NFAT question paper, no more NFAT-specific prep. NFSU now reads your score from an exam you're likely already sitting for — the challenge shifts to knowing which exam maps to which programme.
NFSU has not published one single replacement test — each stream now points to a different national exam. Check your specific programme's eligibility on nfsu.ac.in before you commit to a prep plan.
Primary route for undergraduate forensic science, life science and allied UG programmes.
Used for M.Sc. forensic science, forensic biotechnology and related PG/PG-diploma courses.
Applies to select M.Tech and technical PG programmes, including digital forensics tracks.
Route for B.Tech-level programmes offered alongside NFSU's forensic science streams.
For MBA and management-studies programmes at NFSU, in place of a forensic-specific test.
Forensic justice, policy studies and law-linked programmes reference CLAT and equivalent exams.
